The Jack in the Pulpit (Arisaema triphyllum) also known as brown dragon and Indian turnip is a wild flower growing mainly in North America. It has three leaves and can have red berries in late summer. This velvety, ethereal image has an added texture in post processing creating an artistic feel.
Joye is an award winning photographer who has been involved in photography for over 40 years and is owner of the Gingko Tree Gallery in Black Mountain, North Carolina. Her images have been published worldwide through several stock agencies. She photographs nature, landscapes, art as well as portraits, dogs, and family events.
