This cub was one of four cubs in the Western North Carolina Mountains. The other three cubs were out running up a tree but this little fellow stayed under Mom.

Joye is an award winning photographer who has been involved in photography for over 40 years and is owner of the Gingko Tree Gallery in Black Mountain, North Carolina.
