Chimney Rock at Chimney Rock State Park is located in Chimney Rock Village near Lake Lure in the NC mountains. Just 25 miles southeast of Asheville, NC, the Park is nestled in Hickory Nut Gorge between the towns of Lake Lure and Bat Cave.
About Joye Ardyn Durham
Joye is an award winning photographer who has been involved in photography for over 40 years and is owner of the Gingko Tree Gallery in Black Mountain, North Carolina. Her images have been published worldwide through several stock agencies. She photographs nature, landscapes, art as well as portraits, dogs, and family events. She has been published in WNC Magazine, Our State Magazine, Wall Street Journal, The Laurel of Asheville, Black Mountain News and other publications in North Carolina, Kentucky and Florida.
