The Roanoke Marshes Light is an exterior reconstruction of the square cottage-style screw-pile lighthouse which stood at the southern entrance to Croatan Sound, near Wanchese.
About Joye Ardyn Durham
Joye is an award winning photographer who has been involved in photography for over 40 years and is owner of the Gingko Tree Gallery in Black Mountain, North Carolina. Her images have been published worldwide through several stock agencies. She photographs nature, landscapes, art as well as portraits, dogs, and family events. She has been published in WNC Magazine, Our State Magazine, Wall Street Journal, The Laurel of Asheville, Black Mountain News and other publications in North Carolina, Kentucky and Florida.
